These are Permanent Full-Time positions, however Part Time arrangements may be considered. Any fixed term appointments made, may be eligible for permanency. We are seeking Valuer’s for both our Perth and Bunbury locations.
About the roles
Valuer – Specified Callings Level 1:
This position undertakes and defends valuations made under the Valuation of Land Act 1978, as well as provides consulting services and advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding property valuations focusing on residential, industrial and reasonably simple commercial properties. A key part of this position will be to work collaboratively with others, provide support where required and contribute to the evolution of Valuations and Property Analytics.
Valuer – Specified Callings Level 2
This position undertakes and defends valuations made under the Valuation of Land Act 1978, as well as providing consulting services and advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding property valuations focusing on residential, industrial, commercial and some unique types of properties. A key part of this position is to work collaboratively with those around them to provide development and support and contribute to the standardisation, as well as the improvement of Valuation Services processes, systems and practices.

Role Requirements
To be successful in the Valuer SCL1 role, please address the following in your cover letter:
- Criterion 1: Demonstrated understanding of valuation principles and practices, and the capacity to apply these to property valuations. Previous experience in making valuations (only applies to 1.3) and/or demonstrated experience and ability to make valuations (only applies to 1.4-1.6).
- Criterion 2: Previous experience monitoring progress against performance expectations to ensure deadlines are met and communicates outcomes. This includes the ability to work with minimal supervision to undertake a variety of activities.
- Criterion 3: Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of working with extensive datasets to extract insights, solve problems, and support informed, adaptable decision‑making.
- Criterion 4: Proven capability to engage with a wide range of customers, including managing high-pressure or challenging discussions, while contributing positively to team performance and overall service delivery.
- Criterion 5: Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills that enable successful interaction and cooperation with stakeholders at all levels; including the preparation of a range of written correspondence.
To be successful in the Valuer SCL2 role, please address the following in your cover letter:
- Criterion 1: Significant understanding of valuation principles and practices, and the capacity to apply these to property valuations. Significant professional valuation experience including complex
- Criterion 2: Proven ability to collaborate, influence, inspire, motivate and work with others to make a difference.
- Criterion 3: Demonstrated ability to utilise initiative to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved within deadlines.
- Criterion 4: Proven ability to use industry tools to research, analyse and evaluate information to develop practical solutions.
- Criterion 5: Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships, facilitate effective solutions with diverse stakeholders, and clearly explain complex information to non-technical audiences.
Pre-requisites
- A valid Western Australian Class A or C driver’s license.
- Possession of a degree as prescribed by Regulation 8(1) of the Land Valuers Licensing Regulations 1979 or an equivalent degree as approved by the Executive Director of Labour Relations.
- A license in accordance with Section 19 of the Land Valuers Licensing Act 1978 (applies only to 1.4-1.6).
