We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Alkimos Beach Primary School (PS), located approximately 45km from Perth, opened in 2017 catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6).

The Role

We are actively seeking K-6 teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, showing a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. Suitable applicants would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.

Ideally, applicants will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. At Alkimos Beach PS, we utilise evidence-based practices and use whole-school programs such as Talk for Writing, Letters and Sounds and Word Origins to maximise student outcomes and maintain a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school. A focus in Early Childhood is developing oral language skills through the use of Intentional Play Based learning.
