Fremantle Hospital Mental Health Service is currently seeking Social Workers to join our dynamic team. We are committed to providing high-quality social work services to individuals and families in need, from a recovery orientated and trauma informed perspective. This is a standard vacancy for appointments for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, and fixed term part time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
We currently have three vacancies available:
- 0.5 FTE Social Work position for our new 10 bed adult inpatient unit in V Block, opening August 2026
- 2 FTE Social Work positions for our adult community mental health teams

Eligibility
Are you eligible? To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
