This is a permanent / 12 month fixed term full time appointment for 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
About the Opportunity
The Senior Technical Officer – Instrument, as a member of a team is responsible to provide an efficient, effective, and timely service in relation to the implementation, repair, maintenance, quality assurance, installation and construction of mechanical equipment, instrumentation and systems.
The successful applicant joins a team in the Technical Services Division of Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU) supporting sites across the East Metropolitan and South Metropolitan Health Services.
The position will be based at both Mount Lawley and Bentley Hospitals, however, will also be required to attend and work onsite at other sites managed by HTMU across the East Metropolitan and South Metropolitan Health Services.
Area Profile: Bentley Health Service (BHS) is a fully accredited public hospital located 10km from the Perth CBD and forms part of the Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group. BHS provides quality healthcare to the community, specialising in the delivery of rehabilitation, community child and adolescent health, mental health care and aged care services. The range of services includes specialist outpatient services, Allied Health, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Urology.
Mount Lawley Hospital is part of the Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group and is located just minutes from the Perth CBD offering a range of services including Outpatient clinics, general medical, rehabilitation and geriatric services, surgical, day procedures and endoscopy.
