About The Role:
The Senior Corporate Governance and Policy Consultant is primarily responsible for leading the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Department of Housing and Works’ (DHW) corporate governance and policy frameworks; ensuring that they meet DHW’s requirement to govern itself according to relevant legislation, public sector practices and standards. You are an analytical thinker who can quickly understand complex issues, identify risks and opportunities, and translate information into clear, practical advice, policy documents and executive correspondence.
You build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and are confident engaging, influencing and collaborating across all levels of an organisation. You communicate with clarity, adapt your approach to different audiences, and provide trusted advice that supports sound decision-making.
