Boola Bidi Primary School (PS) - formerly known as Banksia Grove West PS is a new Kindergarten to Year 6 public school opening in 2027, with an Endorsed Education Support Program as an integral part of one connected school community. Boola Bidi PS is located in the fast growing suburb of Banksia Grove.

As one of our foundation support staff, you will help shape the systems, processes and culture that will support students, families and staff for many years to come.

The Role

At Boola Bidi PS we believe in belonging, inclusion, a culture of care, consistency and high expectations. These beliefs underpin every aspect of our work and guide the way we support students, families and one another.

During the establishment phase, a key aspect of the school officers would be welcoming families, supporting enrolments and collaboratively developing the administrative systems that would underpin the school's operations. The ideal applicant may coordinate the procurement, cataloguing and establishment of the library collection, and assisting in the creation of an engaging library environment for the students and staff.

Working closely with the Manager Corporate Services and leadership team, suitable applicants will ideally contribute to the successful establishment of the school through a broad range of responsibilities may include:

  • supporting the enrolment process and providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current families;
  • building positive relationships with parents and acting as one of the first points of contact for our school community;
  • collaboratively developing efficient administrative systems, procedures and workflows to support a new school;
  • assisting with financial administration, purchasing and procurement activities;
  • supporting school communications through newsletters, publications, social media and promotional activities; and
  • contributing to a collaborative team committed to continuous improvement and exceptional service.

As a newly established school, Boola Bidi PS will commence with the Department's Kaartdijin Phase 2 implementation, including the full rollout of Compass for enrolment, student administration and finance processes. Applicants with experience using Compass, or the ability to quickly learn new administrative systems and technologies, will be highly regarded.
