We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Eddystone Primary School is located in the suburb of Heathridge, approximately 27km north of the Perth City.

The Role
The School Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school. This includes tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. They should be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.
In addition to financial management, the School Officer also assists with the management of school assets. This may include coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs of the school site, maintaining key registers and security system codes. As a pro-active School Officer, you should assist with the induction and support of administrative school support staff by developing induction programs and coordinating relief staff and ideally supporting our diverse community with exceptional customer services. Supporting student attendance, communicating with teaching staff regarding students needs, and working as an effective team member is a priority. - Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
