We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the beautifully landscaped suburb of Piara Waters, approximately 25 kilometres south of Perth. The school is surrounded by luscious greenery and forms part of the vibrant, multicultural community of Piara Waters. The school commenced with Year 7 students in 2023, and presently has Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 cohorts. Each year the school adds to its growing cohort, until it reaches Year 12 in 2028.

The Role
We are seeking dynamic and organised School Officers to join our team and help manage the operational aspects of our school. You would play a vital role in ensuring the effective operations of the school, while also supporting administrative staff.
As the first point of contact for our School, School Officers provide targeted administrative support and a high level of customer service. They use their communication skills, empathy, patience, problem-solving skills and knowledge of Department of Education policies/procedures to ensure every interaction is positive and every outcome is successful. Within the administration team, School Officers work collaboratively to address queries, problem solve and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
School Officers are responsible for administering business databases, building strong relationships and working towards set outcomes. They work to apply their knowledge in Department of Education policies, programs and platforms to assist where required. As such, experience in the use of key administrative software, such as the Student Information System (SIS) Integris, resource management (RM) Billing, RM Finance, Compass, Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and the Recruitment Advertising Management System (RAMS) would be considered as advantageous.
Roles within current our corporate services team include but are not limited to; reception, attendance, billing, enrolments, marketing/media, human resources/relief support, curriculum support, library and student wellbeing. We are ideally seeking motivated individuals who can contribute their flexibility, professionalism, strong organisational skills and attention to detail to the team. Suitable applicants will ideally be flexible to move between different administrative duties where required. School Officers are responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Suitable applicants will ideally be team players with positive attitudes and a passion for working in a team-oriented culture.

- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
