We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to support our Graylands Reconfiguration and Forensic Project (GRAFP) team in delivering key development projects which will improve healthcare infrastructure for all Western Australians.
We have one (1) vacancy for Fixed Term Full-time (76 hrs / fortnight) appointment for an initial 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Project Background and Position Description
The Graylands Reconfiguration and Forensic Project encompasses all activities related to the Reconfiguration of the Graylands site and includes the Graylands Campus Project (GCP), which is the first major phase of the reconfiguration. GCP scope includes:
- A 32 bed male adult forensic inpatient unit
- An 8 bed child and adolescent forensic inpatient unit
- Integrated adult patient services and rehabilitation centre (the hub)
- Secure perimeters, associated road works and site works
- Critical services infrastructure upgrades
This program represents a significant opportunity to improve contemporary services to meet the needs of Western Australians living with mental health issues, now and in the future.
What is our Project Manager role?
The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects led by the Graylands Reconfiguration and Forensic Project (GRAFP) team. This includes:
- Working closely with the Project Director.
- Program management of GCP workstreams including design and construction, digital transformation, workforce planning, service development, and project support.
- Infrastructure and operational business case development.
The position works within a multi-agency project governance environment to provide expertise in all facets of project management.
