About the Role
Our Project Development team is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead the planning, definition and development of large-scale, complex and/or high-risk road infrastructure projects.
The successful applicant will provide strategic leadership to a high-performing team and be responsible for delivering critical project development activities, including transport planning, community and stakeholder engagement, traffic investigations, project and contract management, environmental and heritage approvals, and risk assessment and management. The role also involves leading complex investigations and technical studies to inform key road planning and development decisions, ensuring future projects are strategically aligned, thoroughly assessed, and positioned for successful delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate extensive experience in planning, design, and/or development of major road and bridge infrastructure projects, together with proven expertise in project and contract management. You will possess highly developed negotiation, communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Your ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including employee performance, development and workplace behaviour, will be essential, as will your commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and achieving strategic organisational objectives.
