As a Legal Research Support Officer you:

Support and safeguard individuals, children, families and communities by strengthening community safety and inclusion. This is achieved by shaping strategy and policy, regulating human services, delivering client-focused legal services and partnering with stakeholders across government, community sector, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, private industry and community leaders.

The Legal Research Support Officer is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • providing legal research, high quality administrative assistance and supporting Legal Services.
  • liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including Lawyers, Courts and other agencies in relation to general legal matters under relevant legislation.
  • planning and prioritising work daily, consistently with ongoing demands working under minimal supervision.
