About us
GESB is a WA Government statutory authority and we’re proud to be the largest super fund based in Western Australia, with around 250,000 members and over $48 billion in funds under management (as of 30 June 2026). For over 85 years, we’ve been helping current and former WA public sector employees grow and manage their super.
Our values are at the heart of everything we do. If you’re successful in this role, you’ll be expected to put our members first and be guided by our core values of sustainable performance, achieving together, and acting with integrity. We encourage and support everyone at GESB to consistently demonstrate these values and uphold our Code of Conduct in all aspects of their work.
Leadership is part of who we are
At GESB, we consider all our people to be leaders. As such we expect everyone to demonstrate the behaviours and associated mindsets outlined in Building Leadership Impact and further detailed in the Public Sector Commissions Leadership Expectations. Together, these provide a clear understanding of the leadership behaviours expected of all employees.
To be successful in this application, you’ll need to demonstrate these leadership behaviours in the context of Leading Leaders.
Leaders in this context get results through leaders and their teams in a single business area, and influence leaders in other business areas. They create a culture of high performance and accountability; and provide direction, develop, and coach their leaders to achieve operational objectives.
Why join our team?
We genuinely value work/life balance, support professional development, and empower our employees to be their best.

- Competitive remuneration: Award-based salary with annual increments and a 12% superannuation contribution, plus access to generous salary packaging arrangements.
