The Construction Training Fund has one Permanent Full Time position available.
Who are we?
The CTF is a small team responsible for administration of a levy on all building and construction works in Western Australia. We use this levy to assist in a skilled workforce by funding training and programs for apprentices, trainees and their employers in the building and construction industry.
Our modern offices are based in Belmont with ample free parking onsite.

Job Description
This newly created position will undertake a key role for the CTF, undertaking responsibility for overseeing governance, enterprise risk and the organisation’s policy framework, ensuring effective decision-making, compliance and strong internal controls.
The role undertakes the Secretariat function for the CTF’s Board and sub-committees providing high level support and is responsible for the management of all aspects of the Board and sub-committees.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated corporate governance, risk management, policy development and framework management and audit experience ideally within a government setting.
- Demonstrated experience providing Board Secretariat support.
- Experience and knowledge of risk management, risk assessments, policy frameworks and business continuity strategies and frameworks within a large and complex organisation.
- Highly developed conceptual, research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including initiative and the ability to identify issues and remedies.
- Demonstrated experience supporting internal and external audits, evaluation techniques, policy implementation and review, and management practices.
- Ability to develop, manage and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated commitment to improving organisational governance using a collaborative and team focused approach.
- Ability to prepare presentations, written reports, briefing papers, policies and procedural documentation and educational material on complex matters for a range of audiences.
