This is vacancy is for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

We currently have a 2.80 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) position available working various hours per fortnight.

What is our Food Services Supervisor role?

The Food Services Supervisor is accountable for coordinating and leading the human and material resources required to deliver a safe, high quality and timely patient food service, including the accurate provision of therapeutic, modified and allergen appropriate diets. The role provides frontline leadership, supervises staff performance, ensures compliance with food safety, allergen control and quality standards, and manages operational issues on shift to support safe patient care at King Edward Memorial Hospital. 

This role will require working rostered shifts, including participation in on-call / after-hours / weekend rosters / public holidays rosters, assigned rotations throughout various roles and areas within our service.

2 Describe an incident when you had to resolve non-compliance in the workplace with HACCP principles, Food Safety Programs; food preparation and plating practices; Health (Food Hygiene) Regulations

4 Provide an example of how you used analytical, planning and time management skills to improve service efficiency

5 Give an example of a customer service or quality improvement you have implemented.

6 Rate your user capability in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Work, Teams, Excel) applications – beginner / basic / component / expert?

References- The names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.
