The role

As the Financial Accountant (Assets and Expenditure), you will be at the centre of the department's financial accounting operations, providing specialist expertise across fixed assets, leases and expenditure management. You will also coordinate a range of critical accounting activities, including month-end journals and reconciliations, lease accounting, accruals and provisions, helping to deliver reliable financial information that supports sound decision-making. Your work will contribute directly to high-quality financial reporting, audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Your experience in financial accounting, reporting and compliance will be key to your success in this role. You will bring strong technical capability across fixed asset, lease and expenditure accounting, including the management of asset registers, capital works in progress, depreciation, reconciliations and month-end accounting processes.

You will bring to the team your ability to interpret complex financial information, maintain effective financial controls and deliver accurate reporting outcomes in a timely manner.
