We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Under teacher direction, suitable applicants would assist in the delivery of planned education programs and the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment by maintaining equipment, materials and resources for use in classes.

Suitable applicant will ideally possess good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as the ability to support the general health and well-being of students. Strong organisational and time managements skills are highly desirable to assist in the delivery of effective educational programs to students.

  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
