As a Domestic (Cleaner) working in accommodation facilities for people with disability, you will support the residents by maintaining a tidy, safe, and hygienic environment for them through the provision of various cleaning services.

The Need to Know

  • All Communities facilities are a smoke-free environment across buildings, grounds and vehicles.
  • You must be able to pass a satisfactory medical and functional capacity examination based on the physical and psychological demands of the role prior to commencement.
  • You must be able available to attend compulsory induction and/or training sessions.
  • You must have an Australian working visa, residency, or citizenship which covers your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of any offered opportunity.
  • All staff are required to declare any employment worked outside of the Department.
  • You must have the ability to travel to and from various accommodation facilities within the Perth Metropolitan Area, in response to organisational needs.
