This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting safety and quality management systems, overseeing training and competency programs, and acting on behalf of the Marine Technical Authority (MTA) when required. And serves as a key succession and capability development role, ensuring continuity of Designated Person (DP) responsibilities and broader marine technical leadership.
About You

Your previous experience in port or marine or port operations, maritime compliance, operational assurance, training coordination, and regulatory environments will contribute to your success in this role.
You will bring a strong understanding of maritime regulations, standards, and codes of practice, along with practical experience supporting safe, compliant, and efficient marine operations. Also, you are a proactive and organised professional with strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, risk management, and operational assurance skills, committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and governance.
