Eligibility

To apply you must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and be recognised as such by the community. Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act (WA) 1984 applies to this Register.

DPLH will conduct a Nationally Co-ordinated Criminal History Checks (NCCHC) for all successful candidates and referee reports will also be obtained for any suitable applicants prior to being offered employment.

Your details will stay on our Aboriginal employment register for a period of twelve (12) months.  Our register will be refreshed annually and you will need to re-apply after the 12 months.
