Position Profile: This is an exciting opportunity to experience various roles as a Clinical Psychologist. Our growing Department offers you clinical supervision, enrolment in our Early Career Learning & Development Program that provides free CPD to meet AHPRA requirements in worktime, and opportunities to expand your skills and competencies in areas within Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG) as you progress your career with us.
We are currently seeking Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars with a passion for evidence-based patient-centred care and a desire to learn and grow. We have various opportunities currently available across the Department of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology at RPBMLG including positions within the newly established Mt Lawley Hospital services (Adult and Older Adult Rehabilitation; Older Adult Mental Health Inpatient), and the Transitional Care Unit at St James.
About our Department: Our Department is built on a straightforward principle: clinical psychology and neuropsychology belong across the whole hospital, not only its mental health services. Our clinicians work as core members of medical and surgical teams at Royal Perth Hospital, Bentley Hospital and soon-to-be Mt Lawley Hospital — in major trauma, consultation liaison, rehabilitation, breast oncology, chronic pain, endocrinology and diabetes, geriatric medicine, and gender diversity — alongside our inpatient mental health services. Wherever psychological and neuropsychological expertise improves patient care, that's where you'll find us.
We deliver specialist, stepped care matched to each person and to the teams we work alongside, held to a high standard of evidence-based practice. Our Strategic Plan 2024–2027 sets four priorities — our consumers and community, our people, the here and now, and a better tomorrow. In practice they come down to this: care shaped by the people in front of us, a workplace that supports clinicians to practise to the full scope of their profession, and a genuine commitment to research, innovation and data to meet the care needs ahead.
Area Profile: Mount Lawley Hospital is part of the Royal Perth Bentley Mount Lawley Group and is located just minutes from the Perth CBD offering a range of services including Outpatient clinics, general medical, rehabilitation and geriatric services, surgical, day procedures and endoscopy.
Employee Benefits: Our employees enjoy a range of benefits which may include (in line with operational requirements):
- Professional Development Opportunities and Study leave/assistance.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Flexible leave arrangements.
- Other professional and location-based allowances.
- 12% employer contributed superannuation into a fund of your choice. For information on superannuation click here.
