We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Located in the suburb of Secret Harbour approximately 55 kilometres south of the city of Perth, Comet Bay Primary School (PS) is at the heart of a thriving beachside community alongside the beautiful Indian Ocean.

The Role
The role of cleaner is to perform both internal and external cleaning duties. Internal cleaning includes the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning of furniture and fittings, windows, toilets and dusting. External duties include rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, external windows, verandas and covered areas and cobweb removal. Cleaners also participate in vacation cleaning which includes stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, carpet shampooing and pressure cleaning various areas.
Suitable applicants should have good communication and interpersonal skills. You should have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, reliable and punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.
