We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants will be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks. In addition, applicants will carry out external cleaning duties, including cleaning verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, and maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard. During vacation periods, duties will also include stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, pressure cleaning verandas and undercover areas, and detailed window cleaning.

In this role, suitable applicants will ideally show excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment. Applicants should be organised, reliable, punctual, and energetic, with a strong understanding of cleaning equipment, safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices. They will ideally possess excellent communication skills, be highly time-efficient in completing daily tasks, and be adaptable to the changing needs and priorities of the school. A proactive approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are highly important.

Our school also has a Child and Parent Centre on site, which forms part of the regular cleaning schedule, providing a varied and rewarding work environment.
