This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

Dudley Park Primary School (PS) was opened in 1976 and is set is amongst the Tuart trees in the heart of Mandurah. We are a Positive Behaviour School (PBS) and offer a broad curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our four Expectations for Success: Safe, Friendly, Respect and Achieve have been developed in partnership with students and families and they guide all that we do at our school. We support the development of younger children in the community through the Dudley Park Child and Parent Centre. Students at Dudley Park Primary come from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds. We are extremely proud of the indigenous heritage of our community. Our community serves approximately 378 students, with 20% being Aboriginal, and an increasing enrolment of students whose first language is not English.

The Role

The Cleaner in Charge is responsible for leading and supervising the school's cleaning team, ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard and in accordance with Department policies and procedures. This includes organising daily work schedules, maintaining the cleaners' time records, reporting staff absences, arranging relief staff when required, and providing on-the-job induction and training for new employees.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Manager Corporate Services on all cleaning-related matters, ensuring advice and practices remain current, consistent, and compliant with Department requirements. They will participate in monthly cleaning inspections, monitor and manage staff leave entitlements, and ensure all leave and allowance documentation is completed accurately before submission.
