The Role

Applications are invited for the position of Claims Officer.

The position plays a key role in managing a portfolio of personal injury claims focusing on helping people recover from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash.

Successful applicants will complete a well-structured and supported training program on commencement, followed by ongoing in-team mentoring, working together in a supportive and committed team. Even if you don’t have experience managing personal injury claims, but you have the skills outlined in the job description form, we want to hear from you.

The Person

You bring strong capability in delivering high-quality customer service by building and leveraging strong relationships to influence positive outcomes. A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage effectively and empathetically with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Experienced in applying effective strategies to manage common law personal injury claims and achieve successful outcomes, with a sound understanding of injury management principles and practices. Brings a flexible, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Appointment Information

In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve-month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
