Currently we are seeking a Catering Manager to join our team. The Catering Manager leads the operational effectiveness of the Food Service functions ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and cost-effective food service.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end operational management of patient catering services within a complex tertiary healthcare environment. The service delivers six meals daily and approximately 72,000 cold-plated meals per month using regenerative food systems. You will lead a multidisciplinary workforce of over 120 staff, ensuring services consistently meet diverse dietary requirements, strict allergen controls, and IDDSI-compliant texture-modified standards.

You are an experienced catering or food service leader who brings strong operational expertise and the ability to confidently operate within a large-scale, highly regulated environment. Your leadership style is clear, supportive, and adaptable, enabling you to lead teams through complexity and change while maintaining high standards of performance and compliance. With a sound understanding of food production and food safety systems, you establish credibility with frontline teams and stakeholders alike.

You will demonstrate the ability to balance workforce demands, service delivery requirements, and operational constraints, while continuously driving improvement and adapting practices across healthcare or similarly regulated settings. Experience in healthcare, aged care, or institutional catering is highly regarded; however, candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply where they can demonstrate safe, patient-focused service delivery. Experience with automated menu systems will be advantageous
