The Department’s Statewide Service Division provide services and supports to schools to enable student achievement, focused on students and schools that need it most.
The Associate Director Service Integration will support senior leaders to deliver key interdependent projects across Statewide Services.
The Statewide Services Division encompasses both school and system–facing service delivery models. While the Division primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system facing role supporting strategy and policy development. The Division provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most, it also has an important system facing role supporting strategy and policy development.
The Service Planning and Coordination Directorate plans, coordinates and delivers tiered and connected services and supports to regions and schools to strengthen student engagement in public schools.
The Role
The Associate Director will support the senior leadership team to plan coordinate and drive the implementation of key system projects and programs to deliver tiered and connected services and supports to schools and regions. In this role you may be required to at times liaise with Statewide Services branches located in Leederville and East Perth.
The Associate Director will possess strong leadership and project management skills, and have experience leading the implementation of projects in a complex environment.
The Associate Director will:
- provide high-quality advice to Statewide Services senior leaders
- provide clear leadership and direction to identified staff to ensure effective delivery of key milestones
- identify, map and articulate interdependencies of key system projects and programs
- identify and manage key risks and provide solutions and options for resolution
- establish streamline systems and processes that provide accurate reporting.

Eligibility

- hold a recognised qualification in Project, Program or Portfolio Management or equivalent extensive experience
