The Role
The Apprenticeship Support Officer performs various functions relating to the Western Australian Apprenticeship System, in accordance with Part 7 of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 (the Act), the associated Regulations and policies, as well as the strategic directions of the Department of Training and Workforce Development.
The Apprenticeship Support Officer provides support to the Apprenticeship Office and the Coordinator Apprenticeship Office where required. This position assists with activities that support stakeholders and performs duties aligned to upholding the integrity of the apprenticeship system in Western Australia.
The Apprenticeship Office primarily provides an external facing customer service to a range of stakeholders within the apprenticeship system between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.30 pm.
To be successful in this role you will be passionate about providing an outstanding customer service. You will be an effective team player, ensuring the outcomes of the business unit are consistently met. You will be able to follow direction as well as use your initiative to achieve set KPIs. You will ideally have experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. You will also possess good communication and organisational skills.
