We are seeking part-time Ticket Sellers to undertake the sale of tour and merchandise products at the unique and historic Fremantle Prison.
We have one vacancy currently and any other applicants found suitable will be recommended to a pool for vacancies arising during the twelve months after a selection is made.
Successful applicants will possess vitality, self-motivation, a genuine interest in others and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. As a Ticket Seller, you will provide a high level of customer service, with excellent attention to detail. As the initial point of contact, you will welcome visitors and introduce them to an experience they will never forget. An extensive training program will be provided.

Job Description
Sells tickets and gift shop merchandise to customers, takes tour bookings and answers general enquiries in a respectful and sensitive manner to provide quality customer service at all times at one of Western Australia’s most unique visitor attractions.
Selection Criteria
Essential
· Ability to interact with customers and fellow employees in a consistently friendly, courteous and professional manner.
· Well developed communication skills that demonstrate appropriate methods and adaptability to face to face and telephone contacts.
· Demonstrated experience in cash handling and transaction processing using a variety of technologies including touch screen displays, cash registers, EFTPOS terminals and ticket printers.
· Experience in the use of computer applications to produce documents and spreadsheets.
Desirable
· Multi lingual capability.
· Interest in and knowledge of Western Australian history and heritage.
· Knowledge of the tourism facilities and features in Fremantle and Perth.
