In this varied role you will assist the Library Manager with the planning of electronic resource management and access, coordinate all serial acquisition and the availability of online resources, liaise with database suppliers and other agencies regarding licensing agreements for e-resources and manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date licence agreements.
You will also provide access to electronic information resources by cataloguing and indexing resources and monitor, evaluate and report on new technologies, electronic resources and processes.
To be successful in the role you will have a proven ability to manage access to electronic resources along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Tenure: Fixed term opportunity for 6 months. Consideration may then be given to offering a further term(s) or permanent appointment subject to conditions.
