About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Project Officer - Screen Production. This is your opportunity to stretch your skills and influence the Culture and Arts sector in WA.
We have one fixed term until 30 June 2026, full time (75hrs p/f) position available with the possibility of further terms. Whilst this role is full time, the department may consider part-time and job sharing arrangements for suitable applicants.
As Senior Project Officer – Screen Production, you will develop, implement and collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain high level arts and cultural research, partnerships and policy formation. With a focus on screen production, you will act as a principal liaison between the screen sector and the development of strategic programs.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A strong understanding of current trends in screen production and arts policy development
- Proficiency in risk management, occupational health, and equal opportunity practices.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, resourcefulness, and sound judgement while managing projects and contracts with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Ability to build productive relationships, fostering diversity, and communicating effectively with various audiences, while upholding the values and professionalism of the department.
