VenuesWest operates catering services across a number of these venues including the operation of cafes under the Lemon Tree brand at Bendat Basketball Centre, HBF Stadium and HBF Arena.
About the Role
The Retail Supervisor (Café Manager) oversees the day-to-day operations of the Lemon Tree Café located at the states premier basketball facility; The Bendat Basketball Centre. This includes the management of food and beverage services, ensuring safe and high-quality customer experiences and maximisation of financial returns. The role reports to the Catering Manager and is responsible for meeting operational requirements, organisation of the cafe team roster as well as coordinating and supervising the set up, operation and close down of catering areas during functions. With the Lemon Tree café franchise across three venues; the role has fantastic support from our high functioning kitchen team of chefs and catering management team.
We currently have a full time, fixed term position to 30 June 2023 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency available at our Bendat Basketball Centre location in Mount Claremont. Mobility may be required between our portfolio of facilities. The role requires weekend and evening work and where applicable, shift loading will apply.

About the Person
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a retail catering or cafe operation including finance management and stock control. Experience in staff supervision and delivery of functions is also required together with outstanding achievements in customer service. With support available, the role may be suitable for a hard working team leader looking to take the next step in managing a full café operation.
