Salary: MP Year 1-7 $130,145 - $174,823 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and professional development allowance).

Position Profile: This position is available as part of the PathWest Haematology training program. Medical Practitioners committed to entering or continuing in a training program in Laboratory Haematology (single discipline) and who have appropriate qualifications registrable in WA are invited to apply to the 2021 training program. PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA provides a comprehensive, best practice Haematology service to WA tertiary hospitals, private practices and regional areas throughout the state of WA. All positions in the program are accredited for training to attain the Fellowship of the RCPA.
Successful applicants will be allocated to a 12 month appointment. This position will be based at the PathWest laboratory at Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, with rotations to other sites across PathWest in the Fiona Stanley Network.
Trainees currently in the program need to resubmit their applications.
Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant’s integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2021. Appointments for this position will not commence until 2021.
