About the role
The Corrective Services Academy is a Registered Training Organisation and is responsible for identifying and delivering Corrective Services current and future operational learning and development needs, at the individual, business and organisational level in the areas of foundation through to leadership development.
The role of the Team Leader Custodial Training is to advise, promote and deliver adult justice (custodial) related learning and development programs for Corrective Services staff.
The position is responsible for the development, coordination and supervision of learning and assessment activities within the Custodial Training portfolio.
The Team Leader Custodial Training needs to be able to draw on a broad knowledge base to provide guidance and support to training staff on the program design, delivery, assessments and review for continuous improvement within the portfolio.
The position also supervises, supports and facilitates ongoing feedback and professional development of student and staff to enhance performance, job satisfaction and effective working relationships.
