About the role
This is a pool recruitment process for fixed term, full time appointments with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Do you have experience in the development of legal policy and legislation?
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all stages of legislation development from policy to Parliament.
The Legal Policy and Legislation teams within the Strategic Reform division are looking for exceptional talent to develop legal policy and legislation in support of the Attorney General/First Law Officer and/or Minister for Corrective Services policy and legislative agendas.

Pool Recruitment
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. When part of a pool you may be offered a permanent or temporary position, however an appointment is not guaranteed.
This pool will be open for a period of 18 months from the date of first appointment. Permanent and fixed-term, full-time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise.
