About the Perth Theatre Trust
The Perth Theatre Trust (the Trust) is a statutory authority established and constituted under the Perth Theatre Trust Act 1979 to oversee the management and operation of theatres vested or leased to the Trust by the State Government.
The Trust is responsible for the care, control, management, maintenance, operation and improvement of theatres under its control which currently includes the Albany Entertainment Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and the State Theatre Centre of WA.
The Trust now operates a fully integrated in-house hospitality service across all of its venues.
The Trust is part of the Culture and Arts Division, brought together by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).

About the role
Successful applicants will be considered for casual engagements to provide consistent and high-quality food and beverage services, exceptional presentation and service delivery to all clients and patrons whilst forming an integral part of a strong, supportive and professional team.
Applicants must possess a positive attitude, professionalism, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment in varied settings. Successful candidates will have experience in food handling, responsible service of alcohol and demonstrated knowledge of health and safety practices relating to hospitality.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies which arise within six months of the recruitment process being endorsed. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered.
Location
Roles will be based at State Theatre Centre of WA and His Majesty’s Theatre.
