We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Department of Justice’s Courts Executive team within the Court and Tribunal Services Division.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of executive, research, project, information management and administrative support directly to the Executive Director, Court and Tribunal Services.
In this role you will provide secretarial support to the Executive Director, Court and Tribunal Services which will include the management of sensitive and highly confidential information. You will facilitate the organisation of meetings, coordinate and prepare discussion papers and minutes, and track meeting outcomes. This role also requires you to undertake research and analysis, present findings to the Executive Director and the Courts Executive Group. You will also provide a liaison role across the division and with Heads of Jurisdiction, external agencies and interstate courts administrators.
Due to parental leave arrangements, the position is available for an initial period of 12 months. The substantive occupant retains the right to return back to the role during this period. Consideration may be given to offering further term(s) subject to business requirements.
