Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to the position of Staff Development Nurse. The Staff Development Nurse provides appropriate clinical support and delivers training and education for community nurses in order to support a designated clinical area. Additionally the successful applicant is responsible to provide support to new staff during orientation to the clinical role and perform assessments in the workplace to enable staff to achieve and maintain competency in clinical skills.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care. CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
