THE PERSON

This is an important position as you will be liaising with officers of all levels, interacting with customers and ensuring the provision of effective support applications. In addition, the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve a strong customer focus is a key component of the role.

THE ENVIRONMENT
The Commission is a public sector organisation dedicated to leading the development, integration and implementation of state-wide strategies, policies and programs to reduce serious crashes on Western Australian roads.
The vision of the Commission is to eliminate life changing road trauma in Western Australia through a safe road system that encourages safe behaviours and provides forgiveness for human error so that crashes do not result in serious harm.
APPLICATION PROCESS

You will also be required to provide a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) that identifies your talents and key achievements.
Your CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant’s ability to satisfy all of the Essential Work Related Requirements. Applicants should nominate at least one immediate (most contemporary) supervisor/manager unless exceptional circumstances exist.

OTHER CONDITIONS
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies within the WA Police Force throughout the metropolitan area. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the panel may select another suitable applicant from this selection process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.
Integrity and criminal checks will be conducted if the recommended applicant for this position is not a current WA Police Force employee. Any relocation costs associated with appointment to this position may be the responsibility of the successful applicant.
