This is an exciting and very different opportunity to work with a wide range of organisations to enable digital transformation of services. The State Records Office of Western Australia regulates the management of government information and ensures permanent access to the essential evidence of the business of government in Western Australia.
Conditions
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term vacancy, for a period of 12 months only.
A current National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months) will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Department and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered for and fixed term, part- time and full- time positions.
Location
This position is based in the Perth Cultural Centre hub and will spend significant time working across various locations in Perth with other agencies.
Job Description
The Change Manager reports to the Director State Records/State Archivist and leads a change program supporting a significant transformational initiative to improve service delivery for the State Records Office. This includes simplifying State Records standards to support digital transformation; and assisting WA public sector agencies to improve discoverability and access to State records and archives.
