Are you a passionate, dedicated enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher who is looking for a rewarding change?
Moora Primary School (PS) is seeking an experienced and collaborative teacher to join our Early Childhood education team to create an engaging and positive environment for learning.
The successful applicant will possess the ability to work in a team environment and participate in whole school initiatives that supports the school’s Strategic Direction. It is highly desirable that you show a strong commitment to the outcomes of the West Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework with the National Quality Standards embedded in the learning environment.
Experience teaching a multi-age classroom is desirable. The successful applicant must have experience in the early identification of student at Educational Risk and experience teaching a multi-age classroom is desirable. The applicant needs to possess high interpersonal skills and able to build positive relationships with their colleagues, parents and Moora community.
Moora PS is a Level 4 Independent Public School, situated 172 km north of Perth. The school community is drawn from the Moora town site and surrounding rural areas and caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with approximately 25% Indigenous students.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
