About the role
We are seeking a suitably experienced person to fill the full time fixed term position of grants administrator.
This position assists with the administration, processing and monitoring of the Office of Multicultural Interests’ funding programs. In this role you will be an integral member of the Funding Team undertaking routine tasks, providing support and advice within a team environment; liaising with community organisations and individuals; and ensuring activities meet operational guidelines, timeframes and quality standards.
This position is fixed term until 30 June 2020 with a possibility of further terms and/or permanency. At the conclusion of the initial engagement, subsequent contracts may be offered, or the Department may choose to readvertise the opportunity.

Conditions
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within DLGSC and/or the wider public sector which arise within six months of the recruitment process being endorsed. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered fixed term, part-time or full-time.
Location
This role is based at Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
