About the Role
The Main Roads Supply and Transport team deliver Procurement and Light Vehicle Fleet business solutions that support achieving Main Roads' outcomes to enhance productivity, sustainability, safety and reliability.
The team are currently seeking a suitably experienced Procurement Manager to manage a small team in the provision of procurement and tendering service in our large, complex infrastructure delivery organisation.
You will provide specialist advice and assistance to managers, your team and other stakeholders on procurement policy, standards, systems and processes. You will take a proactive approach to facilitating complex procurement for goods, services and consultancies to ensure the best outcome for Main Roads and the State.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in implementing procurement policies, standards, systems and processes and in managing tendering, general and complex procurement and contract administration services.
Your ability to build and enhance working relationships both internally and externally and to engage with contractors, consultants and other suppliers while maintaining high standards of integrity, governance, probity and accountability will be critical to your success in this role.
