Conditions
This is a part time, permanent vacancy.
Pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Employment Opportunities Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Albany, Great Southern region of Western Australia.
Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Ensuring aboriginal voice and perspective in the development of all programs in both school education and public programming spheres.
- Managing projects in liaison with the Regional Manager, other agencies and community partners to meet deadlines and funding constraints.
- Identifying and initiating appropriate consultation strategies with the Aboriginal communities of the Great Southern to affect positive outcomes on key performance indicators and train key staff in these strategies.
To be successful in this role you will have well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships with stakeholders and deliver quality, timely and innovative project outcomes.
