Customer Relations Officer

Conditions
There are two positions currently being advertised and there will also be a Pool running for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into this pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
Position 1 - 13288 Customer Relations Officer
This is a part time (0.6FTE or 45 hours per fortnight), fixed term position working 4.5 hours per day Monday to Friday until February 2020 with a possibility of extension or permanency.
Position 2 - 14484 Customer Relations Officer
This is a part time (0.24FTE or 18 hours per fortnight), permanent position working 4.5 hours per day Friday to Saturday.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
Location
These positions are currently located in historic Fremantle, close to the bustling cafe strip and tourist sights. During 2020 the positions will be relocated to Perth when the New Museum for WA opens in the Perth Cultural Centre.
Job Description
As a Customer Relations Officer you will be required to perform the following duties:
- Provide an information, ticketing and booking service to members of the public.
- Maintain customer information within a specialised Customer Relationship Management database.
- Process credit card and Eftpos payments in compliance with audit standards.
- Respond to customer comments and complaints and take appropriate remedial action.
- Other duties as required with respect to the skills, knowledge and abilities of the employee.
