About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a suitable candidate to join us as Senior Investigations and Compliance Officer in our Energy Markets Division on a permanent basis.
This position is located in the Compliance and Enforcement team within the Energy Markets Division. The core responsibility of the position is to provide education and guidance to market participants on compliance requirements, through the development of education initiatives, including education materials. You will also monitor compliance by energy market participants with the Wholesale Electricity Market and Gas Services Information Rules, including undertaking proactive activities to detect and deter non-compliance. The position also investigates allegations of non-compliance.
Suitable candidates will possess relevant experience in undertaking complex investigations and forming sound conclusions. You will have the ability to interpret and apply rules and legislation in the context of making sound judgements on compliance. You will have high attention to detail and uphold high standards of quality, with the ability to self-manage business as usual activities and projects, from planning through to delivery.
A post-secondary qualification or equivalent in investigations/compliance or relevant field is required.
