About the role
Roebourne Regional Prison is remotely situated half way between the towns of Roebourne and Wickham on the Samson Wickham road approximately 35 kms north of the City of Karratha and 1570 kms north of Perth.
The prison services a mainly Aboriginal population from towns locally and throughout the Pilbara and Kimberley regions. The prison acts as a receival centre for the region with long term accommodation for medium/minimum male and female offenders.
This position provides primary and chronic health care to offenders in custody at Roebourne Regional Prison. There is a keen focus on patient autonomy, health education, health promotion and rehabilitation. This role is suited to a motivated and engaged Clinical Nurse who has an interest or qualification in Aboriginal health.

About you
The applicant must have current registration with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).

Pool Recruitment
The Department of Justice uses recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. When part of a pool you may be offered a permanent or temporary position, however an appointment is not guaranteed.
