We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and tech savvy educator within our Private Sector Labour Relations Division!
The position
This role sits within the Policy and Information Branch of the Private Sector Labour Relations Division and is responsible for facilitating compliance with State industrial laws, through raising community awareness and contributing to proactive education and compliance campaigns.
Drawing on your people-skills and passion for educating, you will be required to develop and disseminate information on State employment laws through workshops and seminars, the Wageline website and other digital and social media, whilst coming up with innovative ways to strategically communicate to small business and the community.
As part of the Community Education team, you will use your writing skills to develop and promote information to assist private sector workers understand their workplace entitlements and employers understand their employment obligations as well as to research and prepare answers to complex client queries.
Extensive training on employment rights and obligations under State employment laws will be provided when you start with the team to assist you to provide quality information and service to our clients.
This position is located in Perth however, may be required to work at other sites as required. Part time and/or job share arrangements may be considered.

- Demonstrated ability to use technology in an innovative way to design and deliver services to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research and analysis of complex matters, and develop options to provide effective solutions
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex material to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums.
