Position Profile: The Humanitarian Entrant Health Service (HEHS) provides a holistic health assessment service for all refugees and humanitarian entrants who are resettled in Western Australia under the Australian Government's Humanitarian Program and Special Humanitarian Program.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse to join our team. In this role you will assist in assessing the health status of humanitarian entrants (refugees) referred to the HEHS.
The Clinical Nurse will detect communicable diseases and potential health problems and plan appropriate health care in liaison with other health professionals. You will liaise with Primary Health Care to ensure ongoing health needs of the clients are met. You will also provide health education to clients and other health services around humanitarian entrant health issues.
