We currently have one (1) permanent full time appointment available for immediate filling to join the Agribusiness Food and Trade directorate.
This process may be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the department. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, the panel may select another suitable applicant from this selection process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from approval of the initial recruitment decision.
As part of the Agribusiness, Food & Trade (AFT) Directorate, you will be a key member of a broader team that is looking to enable growth in the value, competitiveness and diversification of WA’s Agrifood sector through the facilitation of value adding, investment and export outcomes for industry to the benefit of our community.
You will be working with the goal to increase the value of Agriculture and Food exports and Food & Beverage processing; and to drive growth in jobs across the value chain and apply evidence based insights to decision making.

This position will be the key support in the coordination and delivery of the TradeStart program across the southern region of WA; undertake trade development and market access projects; and assist the team with complex projects. The Trade Officer will also liaise with industry and government stakeholders to support successful deliver in trade and business outcomes.
Level Ranges:
Level 4 $78,452 - $82,797 pa (Provides high level support in a defined technical area)

Intrastate and interstate may be required.
This position is located in Bunbury (preferred) with consideration of Albany or Esperance.
