Whilst this selection process will intially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies through out the health service. In additon to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacte the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced and enthusiastic individual to the position of Clinical Nurse Consultant within the community setting. The successful applicant will be responsible and accountable for providing leadership, direction and management of the nursing team and any other areas of responsibility of targeted community based programs across the metropolitan area. This includes management of human, financial and material resources to achieve the Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health (CAHS-CH) service objectives.
Area Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care.
CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
